Candidata a Señorita Hispana 2009

Hola, mi nombre es Vanessa Cisneros tengo 17 años. Nací en un rancho pequeño llamado San Isidro en Guanajuato. Cuando Cumplí  3 años me vine a los  Estados Unidos para empezar una vida llena de sueños y alegrías. Mis padres son Celestino Cisneros y Norma Ramírez  tengo dos hermanos y tres hermanas. Por ahora asisto a la escuela William Penn High School en el grado 11 y vivo en New Castle Delaware. Soy una persona muy bondadosa, simpática, y luchadora. Me gusta estudiar, salir con mis amigas, y bailar. Mi pasión es la música; me gusta escuchar y bailar todo tipo de Ritmos y especialmente la música mexicana como Quebradita,  Duranguense y Zapatiados. Por esto puedo decir que tuve el placer de enseñarles a muchas de mis amigas coreografías para sus 15 años y otros eventos. Me gusta mucho ayudar a las personas en cada cosa que yo pueda, hasta en las cosas más sencillas. Cada año que viajo a México, guardo y colecciono ropa, zapatos y otras cosas que mis amigos y familiares  no quieren / usan y las dono en México a las personas que están bien necesitadas. Yo adoro a los niños y creo que ellos le dan la alegría a la vida. Por eso con mucho gusto patrocino a algunos de los niños necesitados en la organización llamada “Children International”. Les ayudo dándoles comida, ropa y medicamento. Me gusta el Futbol Soccer, el próximo año planeo en participar en el equipo de futbol de mi escuela. Yo se que la educación es muy importante para mi futuro por eso hago el mayor esfuerzo posible para mantener buenas calificaciones y prepárame para la universidad. En la escuela voy muy bien, estoy en el programa de honores con calificaciones muy altas y un record destacado. También he recibido premios por buena conducta y buen conocimiento de la materia. Mi clase preferida es de literatura por que me gusta expresarme por escrito, ponerle mucho detalle a cada reporte, poema o tarea que escribo. Estoy tomando clases del idioma Francés pienso que el conocimiento de este idioma será bueno para mi futuro, también lo podré usar cuando cumpla uno de mis sueños que es viajar a Francia. Hay muchos problemas en cual me gustaría ayudar a la comunidad, algunos incluyen ayudar a las personas con Cáncer/Diabetes porque he vivido estas enfermedades, y sé lo que se sufre. Otro tema en el que constantemente ayudo a las personas es con problemas de inmigración, porque sé que muchas de las personas que vienen a este país es para luchar  y darle una vida mejor a sus familias. Quiero ser un ejemplo para mi familia y los jóvenes de nuestra comunidad. Yo amo mucho a mis padres y quiero que se sientan orgullosos de mí y de todo lo que logre ser. Quiero tomar esta oportunidad para agradecerles a ellos y a toda mi familia y amigos por todo su apoyo y consejos durante mi vida. Después de que me gradué y termine la preparatoria pienso estudiar contabilidad y administración de empresas. Me gusta esta materia porque creo que nuestra comunidad necesita más hispanos trabajando en bancos y abriendo su propio negocio. También porque planeo tener mi propio restaurante en el futuro. Quiero ser una mujer sobresaliente y darles a mis padres todo lo que ellos me dieron y mucho más. Estoy determinada a trabajar arduo para que mis sueños se hagan realidad, porque nada es imposible.  Estoy feliz y agradecida en tener la oportunidad de participar en el concurso de Señorita Hispanidad de Delaware, de poder trabajar con un grupo de muchachas tan lindas que se están convirtiendo en mis amigas y, de que mi participación se este certamen se está convirtiendo en una maravillosa experiencia.

Hello, my name is Vanessa Cisneros I’m 17 years old I was born in a small ranch called Sanisidro which is located in Guanajuato Mexico. When I was 3 years old I came to the United States to begin a new life full of dreams and excitement. My Parents are Celestino Cisneros and Norma Ramirez I have 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Right now I am a junior at William Penn high school and I am currently living in New Castle Delaware. I am a very caring, friendly and determined person. I like to study, hang out with my friends, and dance. My passion is music I like to hear and dance all kinds of different rhythms especially Mexican music like Quebradita, Duranguense and Zapatiados. Because of this, I can say that I had the honor to teach many of my friend’s choreography for their sweet 15 and other events. I enjoy helping people out in every way I can and even in the simplest things. Every year I take a trip to Mexico I collect clothes, shoes and other unwanted items from my friends and family and donate them to poor families and people who really in need. I love children I think they bring joy into our lives. That’s why I proudly sponsor kids that are in need at The Children International Organization. I help them by giving them food, clothes and medication.  I like to play soccer and next year I plan to participate in my schools soccer team. On the other hand, I am aware of the importance of education for my future that is why I try very hard to keep good grades in school and to learn as much as possible to prepare myself for college. Right now I stand as an honor roll student with good grades and an outstanding school record. I received awards for good conduct and knowledge of the subject. My favorite subject in school is Literature because I like to express myself in writing and add detail in every poem, essay or report I write. In school, I am taking French classes I plan on learning this language because it will help my future, also I could use it when I accomplish one of my dreams which is visiting France. There are many issues that I would love to help people more with some include to help people with Diabetes and Cancer I lived these health problems very close and I understand how much they suffer. Another issue that I am constantly helping people with is immigration issues because I know that most of these people come to this country to give a better future to their families. I want to be a role model for my family and the young community. I love my parents and I what to make them feel proud of me and everything that I accomplish. I want to take this opportunity to thank them and all my family and friends for all their advice and help throughout my life. When I finish high school, I plan to attend Penn State University or Delaware State University and major in Accounting and Business Management. I like this major because I feel that our economy needs more Hispanics involved in working at banks and to owning a business. I plan on opening my own restaurant in the future. I want to become a very successful woman to be able to give my parents everything that they once gave me and a lot more. I am determined to work hard to reach my goals because I know that nothing is impossible. I am very happy and thankful to have the opportunity to participate in Miss Hispanic Delaware Pageant and being able to work with a beautiful group of young ladies that are becoming my friends I am looking forward to a wonderful experience.
