Identifican Víctima de disparos en la calle 3

Esta mañana 30 de septiembre aproximadamente a las 12:03 am, la policía de Wilmington respondió a una llamada en el bloque 1000 de la calle W. 3 en relación una victima por disparos.

 La investigación preliminar revela que un vehiculo desconocido se detuvo al frente de la casa en la que la victima estaba sentado en la escalera de la entrada y un sujeto sin identificar salio del carro. Vestía una sudadera gris con la que se tapaba la cara.

Se escucharon varios disparos y el carro salio corriendo hacia el este de la cale 3. la víctima fue transportada el Hospital de Cristiana donde luego murió.

Los detectives de la policía de Wilmington informaron que la victima fue identificada como Rodrigo Monroy de 34 años.

Homicide 1000 Blk. W. 3rd Street

Victim Identified

This morning, September 30, 2008 at approximately 12:03 am, Wilmington Police responded to the 1000 Blk. of W. 3rd Street in regards to a shooting victim. There, officers’ located a 34 year old resident of that block suffering from gunshot wounds to his head and chest. The preliminary investigation reveals that an unknown vehicle pulled up in front of the house in which the victim was sitting on the front steps and an unknown subject got out of the car. This person was wearing a gray sweatshirt which he had covering his face. Several shots were heard and the car sped away east on W. 3rd Street. The victim was transported to the Christiana Hospital where he later died.

Wilmington detectives have released the identity of this morning’s homicide as 34 year old Rodrigo Monroy of the 1000 Blk. of W. 3rd Street in Wilmington.
