Hispano asesinado en NewPort, DE

Un hispano de 24 años fue encontrado muerto en un deposito, mientras que un joven de 20 años que estaba con el fue llevado al Hospital Christiana

El martes 9 de junio a las 1:23 de la madrugada la policia recibio una llamda de un probable asesinato en la calle Falco de Newport.

Segun el portavoz de la policia Jeff Whitmarsh, el 911 recibio una llamda de una persona familiarizada con el area que indicaba que un deposito de la calle 500 Falcon en Newport habia dos sujetos en el piso.

 Al llegar la policia al area encontró a dos personas heridas por armas de fuego  uno de ellos identificado como  Jose Luis Ramos de 24 años fue declarado muerto y el segundo, un joven de 20 años fue llevado al Christiana Hospital en situación critica.

State Police Probe Homicide in Newport

At about 1:23 a.m. this morning, Newport Police Officers and State Troopers were called to a storage unit along the 300 block of Falco Drive in Newport (Newport Business Park) for a report of an apparent homicide. 

A person who was driving through, and familiar with, the business park saw a vehicle outside the aforementioned storage unit and thought it was suspicious because of the time of day.  This individual drove up to and peered inside the unit to find two subjects lying on the ground.  He then immediately called 911.

 When officers arrived on the scene, they located one deceased male subject, and another male subject, both suffering from an apparent gunshot wounds.  The wounded male was transported from the scene to Christiana Hospital where he was last listed in critical condition. 

 The deceased male is identified as Jose Luis Ramos, 24, of New Castle, Delaware.

 The wounded subject is a male in his 20’s. 

 A motive for this crime has not been determined.  The body of the deceased male has been turned over to the Medical Examiners Office for an autopsy.
