La Policía investiga cuatro robos a mano armada en 70 minutos.

La Policia del Condado de New Castle esta investigando en este momento cuatro robos a mano armada que tuvieron lugar en diferentes comunidades del condado al final del sábado y a primeras horas del domingo.

El sábado 11 de julio  a las 11:00 pm la policía del condado respondió a una llamada en una casa los apartamentos Hampton Walk ubicados en el area de Basset Avenue y la avenida McMullen. Se reporto que tres adultos estaban caminando el el area del Centro Comunitario de Howard Weston cuando dos sujetos ( uno blanco y el otro negro) se les acercaron. Los sujetos blandieron una pistola y les robaron sus carteras y teléfonos celulares antes de dejar la escena en un Cadillac Catera verde. 

A las 11:30 p.m., se reporto un segundo robo en la comunidad de Penn Acres South en la cuadra de Bunker Hill Road. Un hombre adulto estaba caminando en la acera cuando fue asaltado por dos sujetos con un arma de fuego, quienes se escaparon también en un Cadillac Catera verde. 

Un tercer robo fue reportado 15 minutos mas tarde en los apartamentos de William Penn Village, en la calle Tulip Lane. Un hombre estaba caminando afuera cuando fue acosado por dos sujetos (se cree que son los mismos sospechosos) y fue robado  a punta de pistola. También esta vez los sospechosos escaparon en un Cadillac Catera verde. 

El cuarto robo tuvo lugar a las 12:10 am. En la calle Arden Avenue en la comunidad de Castle Hills. Dos hombres caminando en la calle fueron asaltados a punta de pistola por los mismos sospechosos en el Cadillac Catera verde. 

El primer sospechoso es descrito como un moreno de  5’08” to 5’10”, con un peso aproximado de  170 libras, con una franela negra, jeans negros o pantalón largo que llevada una pistola negra.

El segundo es un hombre blanco de  5’10” a 6’, con un peso aproximado de 200 a 220 libras, vistiendo una camiseta blanco o oscura y jeans.

Una de las victimas es hispana y según la policía, aparentemente los ataques fueron llevados al azar.

Police Investigate Four Armed Robberies in 70 Minutes

New Castle County Police are currently investigating four armed robberies that occurred in four separate communities in the New Castle area late Saturday and sunday early morning. 

On Saturday (7/11) at 11:00 p.m., County Police responded to a home in the area of Basset Avenue and McMullen Avenue in the community of the Hampton Walk Apartments.  Three adult males were reportedly walking in the area of the Howard Weston Community Center when they were approached by two male subjects (one white male and one black male).  The subjects then brandished a handgun and robbed the victims of their wallets and cell phones before fleeing from the area in a green colored Cadillac Catera. 

At 11:30 p.m., the second robbery was reported to have occurred in the unit block of Bunker Hill Road in the community of Penn Acres South.  An adult male victim was walking along the roadway when he was robbed by two suspects who brandished a handgun and fled in a green colored Cadillac Catera. 

The third robbery was reported at 11:45 p.m. in the unit block of Tulip Lane in the William Penn Village Apartments.  A male victim was walking outside when he was accosted by two subjects (who were believed to be the same suspects) and robbed at gunpoint.  The suspects were last seen fleeing the area in a green colored Cadillac Catera. 

The fourth robbery occurred at 12:10 a.m., in the unit block of Arden Avenue in the community of Castle Hills.  Two adult male subjects were walking in the area when they were robbed at gunpoint by the same two suspects in the green Cadillac Catera. 

The first suspect is described as a black male, 5’08” to 5’10”, weighing approximately 170 pounds, wearing a black t-shirt, black jeans or long cargo shorts and carrying a black in color handgun.

The second suspect is a white male, 5’10” to 6’, weighing approximately 200 to 220 pounds wearing a white or dark t-shirt and jeans.
