Un robo en la calle y asalto en una casa en menos de 5 minutos

Los detectives de la policia investigan dos robos a mano armada en los apartamentos Hampton Walk

Lunes 6 de Julio.-

Detectives del Departamento de Policia de New Castle estan investigando dos robos ocurridfos en los apartamentos Hampton Walk esta mañana.

Una familia hispana fue robada al entrar a su casa y en una casa vecina el asaltante apunto con su arma a una mujer hispana mientras estaba en su cama.

A la 4:08 de la mañana en el numero1500 block deNew Jersey Avenue, se rporto que una familia habia sido robada a punta de psitola por un hombre negro. Cinco minutos mas tarde  (4:13) un secundo robo tuvo lugar, esta ves la entrada a una casa en el numero 1600 block de New Jersey Avenue.  En el segundo robo la dama estab durmiendo cuando fue despertada por un hombre moreno que le apuntaba con su arma. Le robo una cantidad no detreminada de dinero y salio a pie por la ventana.

En el primer robo la familia estaba entrando a su casa y fueron sorpendidos por el sujeto mientras caminaban hacia su apartamento.

Se piensa que el sospechoso de ambos hechos es el mismo sujeto de unos 6 pies de altura vistiendo ropa oscura.

Street Robbery and Home Invasion Occur within Five Minutes

Monday July 6- New Castle County Detectives are currently investigating two armed robberies that occurred in the Hampton Walk Apartments early this morning

.  A Hispanic family was  robbed as they entered their home and a second residence had the door kicked in by a gunman who pointed a gun at the (Hispanic) female victim while she was in bed. 

Today at 4:08 a.m., County Police responded to the area of the 1500 block of New Jersey Avenue for a report of a family that was just robbed at gunpoint by a black male.  Five minutes later (4:13) a second robbery (this time a home invasion) was reported to have just occurred at a home in the 1600 block of New Jersey Avenue.  In the second robbery, a female was sleeping when she was startled by a black male subject who was pointing a handgun at her while she was in bed.  The subject stole an undisclosed amount of cash from the victim before he fled through a window and ran off on foot. 

In the first crime, the family had just returned home and was accosted at gunpoint as they were walking into their apartment building.  The suspect in both cases is believed to be the same gunman who is described as a thin black male who stood about 6 feet tall and was wearing a dark colored matching sweatshirt and pants.
