Festival Hispano de Georgetown 2022
First State Community Action y The Voice Radio Network tuvieron el agrado de invitar a la comunidad a participar en el Festival Hispano de Georgetown 2022, que se llevó a cabo el domingo 18 de septiembre de 11 a.m. a 7 p.m. en el centro de Georgetown, Delaware en North Race Street.
El Maxima Hispanic Fest fue un gran día para apreciar y celebrar la diversidad de la herencia cultural hispana en Delaware, Maryland y Virginia. Hubo música y bailes interpretados por grupos locales, nacionales e internacionales, artes y artesanías tradicionales y, por supuesto, deliciosa comida tradicional con énfasis en la cocina latina. Muchas empresas, organizaciones sin fines de lucro, agencias gubernamentales y vendedores de alimentos participaron en el evento.
Nuestro objetivo fue tener un evento exitoso y recaudar fondos para organizaciones comunitarias locales como First State Community Action Agency, The Rosa Healthcare y La Esperanza. Nos gustaría agradecer a The Voice Radio Network, a la ciudad de Georgetown y al Departamento de Policía local por toda su ayuda.
Georgetown’s 2022 Hispanic Festival
First State Community Action and The Voice Radio Network were pleased to invite the community to participate in Festival Hispano de Georgetown 2022, held on Sunday, September 18th from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. in Downtown Georgetown, Delaware on North Race Street.
The Maxima Hispanic Fest was a great day to appreciate and celebrate the diversity of the Hispanic cultural heritage in Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia. There were music and dances performed by local, national, and international groups, traditional arts and crafts, and of course delicious traditional food with an emphasis on Latino cuisine. Many businesses, non-profit organizations, government agencies, and food vendors participated in the event.
Our goal was to have a successful event as well raise funds for local community organizations like First State Community Action Agency, The Rosa Healthcare, and La Esperanza. We would like to thank The Voice Radio Network, The City of Georgetown, and the local Police Department for all their help.
