Ceremonia de certificación de ESL en Delaware Tech
El 7 de mayo de 2025, Delaware Technical Community College en Georgetown celebró a los 38 estudiantes universitarios que completaron todos los requisitos para recibir su Certificado de Inglés como Segundo Idioma (ESL). Los estudiantes del certificado de Inglés este año representan a Colombia, República Dominicana, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haití, Honduras, México, Puerto Rico, Turquía, Ucrania y Vietnam.
Los estudiantes que reciben el Certificado ESL ahora pueden comenzar los programas de carreras en Delaware Tech en automoción, negocios, ciencias informáticas, justicia penal, educación, ingeniería, servicios humanos y enfermería. Los estudiantes que reciben el Certificado de ESL tienen las habilidades en inglés para obtener un ascenso en su lugar de empleo actual o para encontrar un mejor trabajo. Los estudiantes que reciben el Certificado de ESL ahora dominan el idioma inglés con suficiente fluidez para ayudar a sus familiares y amigos a navegar la vida en un nuevo país, ser mejores padres y participar más en sus comunidades.
ESL Certificate Ceremony at Delaware Tech
On May 7, 2025, Delaware Technical and Community College in Georgetown celebrated the 38 college students who completed all the requirements to receive their English as a Second Language (ESL Certificate). This year’s ESL Certificate Recipients represent the Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Turkey, Ukraine, and Vietnam.
Students who receive the ESL Certificate can now begin degree programs at Delaware Tech in automotive, business, computer sciences, criminal justice, education, engineering, human services, and nursing. Students who receive the ESL Certificate have the English skills to get a promotion at their current place of employment or to find a better job. Students who receive the ESL Certificate are now fluent enough in the English language to help their family and their friends navigate life in a new country, be better parents, and be more involved in their communities.
