Celebremos juntos la tradición, el arte y la memoria en el Museum de Penn!
El Centro Cultural Mexicano y el Penn Museum te invitan a participar en el Concurso de Altares de Día de Muertos 2025, una tradición que honra la vida, la memoria y el arte de nuestras raíces.
Crea tu propio altar y forma parte de esta colorida celebración que se llevará a cabo durante el evento del Día de Muertos en el Penn Museum.
Quiénes pueden participar: organizaciones, empresas, escuelas y familias que deseen compartir su creatividad y rendir homenaje a sus seres queridos.
Entrega y montaje: los altares deberán estar completamente terminados a las 10:00 a. m. del 1 de noviembre, una hora antes del inicio del evento (11:00 a. m.).
Acceso gratuito: cada integrante del equipo participante recibirá entrada gratuita al evento (hasta 10 entradas por altar).
Criterios de evaluación: presentación, creatividad y originalidad. Los altares deberán respetar el formato tradicional.
Premios: habrá premios sorpresa para los equipos ganadores.

The Mexican Cultural Center and the Penn Museum invite you to participate in the 2025 Day of the Dead Altar Contest, a tradition that honors life, memory, and the art of our roots.
Create your own altar and be part of this colorful celebration taking place during the Day of the Dead event at the Penn Museum.
Who can participate: organizations, businesses, schools, and families who wish to share their creativity and honor their loved ones.
Setup and delivery: altars must be fully completed at the Penn Museum by 10:00 a.m. on November 1, one hour before the event begins (11:00 a.m.).
Free access: each member of the participating team will receive free admission to the event (up to 10 entries per altar).
Judging criteria: presentation, creativity, and originality. Altars must follow the traditional format.
Prizes: there will be surprise prizes for the winning teams.
