Máximo César Castellanos de Georgetown, Delaware, recibió una Medalla de Oro y una Medalla de Bronce en la Ceremonia de los International Latino Book Awards de 2025. Máximo César Castellanos from Georgetown, Delaware, received a Gold Medal and a Bronze Medal at the 2025 International Latino Book Awards Ceremony. Máximo’s book, Dr. Pren y el Guerrero del Otro Mundo, was chosen as a Gold Medal Winner in the category of Charlie Ericksen Best Book Written by a Youth. Máximo’s book, Dr. Pren and the Guardian of the Vortex, was awarded a Bronze Medal in the category of Best Fiction Book Translation, Spanish to English. Máximo’s book, Dr. Pren y el Guardian del Vórtice, was recognized with an Honorable Mention in the category of Best Young Adult Fiction book.
Máximo attended the International Latino Book Awards Ceremony at MiraCosta College in Oceanside, California, on October 25th. The International Latino Book Awards Ceremony celebrates English, Spanish, and Portuguese books in the categories of Children, Youth, Adult, Nonfiction, Fiction, Poetry, and Translation. The International Latino Book Awards has grown over the last 27 years to become the largest Latino Literacy and Cultural Awards in the U.S.A.
